How it works

This training is 100% online and will require you to work with technology, such as smartphones with video recording function (you or someone else will need to upload video evidence of your practical components).

  1. If you are unsure whether the type of training is suitable, please make sure you complete the online training requirements first before you book. This way of learning is not suitable for everyone and we prefer to be upfront initially.
  2. Select the date of training course completion, at least 3 – 4 weeks away to allow enough delivery time for your kit and ample time for you to complete the course.
  3. During enrolment you will be asked to upload 2 forms of ID. One form must have photo example Drivers License or Passport and your Medicare card. This is to allow us to verify your identity. This is a requirement for our compliance for online Accredited Training to ensure you are the person completing the work.
  4. Estimated time to complete enrolment + theory and practical components with the required technology knowledge.

    HLTAID009 CPR = 1.5 hours
    HLTAID011 Provide First Aid = 3 hours
HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education & Care setting = 4 hours

  5. Gmail email addresses work best, due to better spam filtering. Most email addresses will add our emails to your junk folder due to the embedded links required for your online work. Please check you junk/spam email folder regular when participating in a course.
  6. During the enrolment stage you will add the kit to your purchase, you have the option to not purchase a kit if you have trained with us before. We do check during the training so it’s pointless ordering a course without the kit if you don’t have one.
  7. You will not be asked to purchase another kit for your refresher training, unless you have lost your initial kit or damaged it.
  8. You will receive a link and logins to complete your online work at your own pace. You must have your online work completed by 11.59pm of your course date.
  9. You will receive instructions on various tasks that must be completed and recorded.
  10. The next business day after your class completion date, one of our accredited assessors will mark your pre course work & uploaded videos.
If you are deemed competent, a statement of attainment (certificate) will be issued, via email and a copy will remain in your student portal to access a copy in the future if needed.
If you are marked as not yet competent – an email advising the next steps will be sent to you.
  11. We recommend you take the time to view your videos before you upload them to ensure correct lighting so details can be seen properly by our assessors.
